A Patient’s Journey

Case History

We will take a thorough case history when you come for your first appointment with us. This will consist of details of your current symptoms as well as some information about your general health and past medical history.

We will then examine your spine and any peripheral joints of relevance to your complaint. It may be also necessary to test parts of your nervous system. Rarely, further examinations such as X-Ray or MRI scans are needed to form an accurate diagnosis.

We will discuss the various treatment options with you before we commence treatment. Osteopaths use techniques of gentle soft tissue manipulation and joint movement in order treat a variety of musculo-skeletal aches and pains
